I MOVED IN!

After months of planning and stressful thinking, I finally am living in Washington with my boyfriend in our cute apartment.

After April 12th, 2015 I have been debating on living in Washington. I fell in love with the state. The scenery, the people, all the wonderful cities, and feeling accepted.

In my old city in Michigan I didn't felt like I belonged. My city was mostly wannabe rednecks, hicks, druggies and I don't fly with that. That is definitely not me!

So living here is perfect!! Hippie, good vibes, happy thoughts, adventure, love, and just all around happiness. That is all I ever wanted in life and finally I can say that I live in a wonderful place that has all of this.

I live 20 minutes south of Seattle. So I am close to the city but I am still surrounded by nature which of course is exactly what I wanted in a place to live. But my boyfriend and I will move closer to his work. Hopefully we would be close to my work where I'm hoping to work at Costco, Trader Joe's, or the flower display at Costco which was my old job. Now I'm unemployed!!....it's horrible.

Anyways, I can't wait to share you guys what my apartment looks like! Once I unpack all my clothes and get everything is in it's place I'll make a video on YouTube to show you guys!

So here is the process of my move:
-Pack 100 lbs in my car
-Pack my clothes in suitcases for the plane (4 in total)
-Pack the random things in my room into USPS boxes (7 in total)
-Pack my thoughts together
-Get on a plane and move my life to Washington
So just follow those steps and you can move to Washington too!!

Well, I just wanted to share my thoughts about my move. It has only been 2 days now but I am still super happy that I moved :)

Take a step into my mind about my path to Buddhism

Well, I've always been confused in what to believe in.

My dad is catholic and my mom is christian. And my grandma (my moms mom) is very christian. She, to me, would kinda shove Christianity down my throat. But unknowingly doing it, but she did. Her church where my mom also went to, is very well crazy. If you aren't christian or don't believe in God, you are pretty much Satan or a sin or whatever. That is how that church is, where I wanted nothing to do with.

I have been to 2 other churches. One of them I did like where it wasn't a crazy amount of "you have to believe this or your wrong!" kind of thing. But on the other hand, the other church I went to well that's NOT what they did. I literally had my jaw down to the ground because I couldn't believe what I was hearing and seeing. AND I was in youth group not even a normal service. So I don't even want to see or hear what happens in that service. I almost got up and LEFT youth group. I wanted yell at the person talking and tell them to shut the hell up. It is wrong to shove shit down children's throats. Don't do that in any circumstance.

Now I never went with either of my parents religions. I always knew that I believed in something different than most people but never could put the "title" to it. I always was in love with witches, Halloween, and Harry Potter. So I always wanted to become witch. Make spells and potions but clearly that really can't happen. But I did find out about Paganism and Wicca which thought was where I belong but I was wrong about that too.

I did get into it but secretly because really no one is into it and people think it's weird and creepy. Thinking I am a Satan lover but NO that is not what paganism and Wicca is. I loved these religions because they corresponded with nature. I also DIDN'T specifically go by these as religions, more on the sense of guidelines to make my own religion. With these religions they have different "topics" into it. I tried many different topics but nothing really stuck/ felt right.

I watched just ONE YouTube video and it changed my life. I watched a video by Simply_Kenna where she explained her side of Buddhism.
Her video lightened me up and showed me the world that I want to be a part of.

Buddhismis a nontheistic religion or philosophy that encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and spiritual practices largely based on teachings attributed to Gautama Buddha, commonly known as the Buddha ("the awakened one").

I believed in (before I chose any sort of religion) nature, that mother nature was my "god". We live on a Earth, a planet that has trees and water which is nature. No religion, that I knew, corresponded with just nature so I was lost....until now.

Even though Buddhism isn't nature focused but spiritually it is where my mind set is. Also, the fact of just being a good person is just what I want to be. I want to follow this to have a happy wonderful life.

So all in all, I think if I have to give a title to what I believe in, I would chose Buddhism. It is freeing, mentally sane, spiritual, and down to earth.

I will continue my journey with Buddhism and hopefully will be able to call it my religion. :)

So thanks for taking a read at my extremely long religion talk!

ECGCrafts: My Etsy Store

I started my Etsy store around a year or two ago and I love it!! I love making stuff and learning new things to make. So what I make I can actually sell which is FANTASTIC.
I mainly crochet scarfs but I just got a book to teach me new ways of crocheting. I would tell you what it's called but I sent it to Washington already..oops.
I also try to make jewelry but I need to have a set theme of how I create it. I want to go by the lines of hippie, simple, and nature kind of look. I just need the right tools and right inspiration to do so!
What I recently uploaded was RAVE BRAS! Only 2 of them because I want to make more in Washington not in Michigan.
I also have COUPONS. I have around 2 coupons that you can use (at the moment)! Scroll down to my coupon list at the end of my blog if you want to check that out!

I will have much more coming to my store once I have moved and once I have an appropriate station to make my crafts. Hopefully I will have a sewing machine where I can make SO much more! I am extremely excited!

WHAT I WILL BE LEARNING:

  • New crocheting methods
  • New needle felting methods
  • Where to buy good materials to make perfect jewelry and other crafts
  • Painting and drawing to make prints
  • Sewing which includes: clothes, adding fabrication to crocheting, and much more
So I have a lot to read about, learn, and do. I am extremely excited to have this business grow and hopefully be a good part time job! The dream is there and I hope to make it work.

Please take a look at my etsy store! I really appreciate it! If you buy something, even a bigger appreciation! I put my time and heart into what I make and hopefully you all see that. Thank you :)
